We are a mobile service, which specializes in traveling to our clients’ homes, places of business, hospitals or any agreed upon location.  We provide the convenience of coming directly to you and eliminate the need for you to juggle your commitments and travel to an unfamiliar location.  This service is intended for anyone who cannot “go to” see a notary and would like someone to come to them.

  • Fees – Commowealth of Virginia standard fee per notarized signature: $5 (Includes: Acknowledgments, Jurats, Oaths and Copy Certifications)

  • Travel Charge* – We are a mobile notary service providing traveling notarzations to the City of Charlottesville and Albermarle, Greene, Orange and Culpeper counties.  As a mobile service, all appointments will incur a travel fee that is agreed upon ahead of time between the client and us.

  • Cancelation Charge: Any appointment canceled within two hours of the scheduled appointment time will incur an additional fee of $25 at the time of service.

  • Miscellaneous Charge – For any appointment, if the signer fails to arrive at the scheduled appointment time, we will wait no less than 20 minutes for their arrival before a miscellaneous charge will be applied.  For each additional 15 minutes of wait time a charge of $15 will be applied to the cost of service.

  • Payment Methods:  We accept cash, personal checks and all major credit cards.  For credit card payments a 4% service fee will be applied to the total cost.

  • Returned Checks – For any check returned a fee of $25 will be applied.*All notarization fees are based on the Commowealth of Virginia statutory code. The Commonwealth of Virginia notary code allows notaries to charge a maximum of $5 per each notarized signature and an additional travel fee, which must be disclosed separate from the notarizaiton charges.  Travel charges are additional and are calculated for each  individual appointment as a separate fee from the notarization and will differ depending on distance an time to the location.  While no two notarizations are exactly alike, some require hours of preparation, while others may require only the completion of a simple form; our fees reflect this. To allow for expedient notarization without incurring additional fees, please be certain all documents are appropriately completed.  

 

The fees vary depending upon the specific signing activities and travel distance.

Individual Process Services:

 

Regular Service (documents mailed, faxed or e-mailed to our office, Service attempted within 72 hours; Rural areas may not be included)

discount area includes:  Counties of Albemarle, Greene, Orange, Culpeper and City of Charlottesville

 

Emergency Services:

Rush Service Fee: 1 1/2 x's regular rate 
(Rush service fee in addition to regular service for requested service attempt within 48 hours after we receive the documents) 

Priority Rush Same Day: 2 x's regular rate (priority fee in addition to regular service fee, includes same day service attempt and return phone call report after first service attempt) Priority service for documents that must be served the same day that we receive via e-mail, fax, or courier.

Additional Services:

 

$30 Each Additional Set of court documents delivered to same individual at same location at same time.

 

$50 Court Filing for court documents to be filed in Orange County, VA.  Add $25 for same day.  For outside Orange County, VA, same rates as process serving.

 

$5 Notary Fee if Proof of Service requires signature to be notarized.

 

$0.25 Per Page Charge for emails and faxes over 20 pages in length that must be printed before service.

 

$150 Monthly Retainer for Routine Court Unlimited routine filings, 3 times a week pickup and drop off. Add $20 for each additional attorney.

 

$75 Hourly Rate for requested stakeouts or wait time on hard to serve persons.


$125 Physical Address Locate (that is not found on mapping sources)

$175-$375 Full Process for Levies, Writs & Wage Garnishments

DOCUMENT SCANNING SERVICES $0.14 per page we will pick up your documents anywhere in San Diego County, scan them, and offer you a choice between returning or shredding them after 30 days, providing you with a certificate of completion.

 

 

OTHER SERVICES AVAILABLE. Contact for details on skip trace, document recovery, and many other services.

  
Above Fees include most areas, remote or mountain areas are additional fees. Service includes 3 attempts at one address.  Additional addresses are additional fees.  If original address is incomplete and missing a suite, apartment, unit number, it will be deemed a non-serve.  Corrected addresses to incomplete original addresses are considered a new service request will be charged full price for new set of attempts.  Service includes preparation and return of the proof of service and any required declaration to your office. In case of non-service or a bad address, a timely report will be forwarded containing attempt dates, times and address notes.  Business address regular rate is attempted within 3 business not calendar days of receipt and do not include holidays.   Business hours are assumed to be from 8 am until 5 pm unless otherwise notified. Court filing fee is for the physical filing of your court documents and does not include any fees imposed by the court for acceptance of such documents, therefore additional charges may apply. Status requests available on any case via e-mail. Rates subject to change.  Fees are earned upon request and completion of at least one trip to requested location.  Written request of services constitutes a contract for service and stated fee.

 

 

 


 

General Public Fees:

Services for individuals typically include notarization of documents such as Charities, Real Estate Papers, Wills, Living Wills, Guardianships, Car titles,  and Power of Attorney.  These services can be performed at my location, or I can come  to you if you prefer.

Notary Fees (set by the state):

  • First signature, $5.00

  • Each additional signature, $5.00


Travel Fees:

  • In the Hampton Roads area, during business hours, $25.00

  • In the Hampton Roads area, weekends, evenings, and holidays, $30.00
